Time for the White House Press Corps to Ask a Question

“Mr. President; would you take a drug test and publish the results?”

I am serious.  When he states that he is confident ‘that the country is moving in the right direction‘  ??

Record unemployment, business contracting from lack of confidence, runaway deficits, charities cratering from increased demands and lower donations.

One really has to ask: is he really so isolated, so arrogant, so dense?  Or has he possibly returned to some of the habits of his youth? (what would stop him?)  I would find that explanation preferable over the more sinister ones that he truly WANTS to bring America down.

A Comparison on Oppression

Can the contrast be any clearer?  I don’t think for one minute the thugs back then would still be welcome at a July 4th Party at the White House!

The Somalian Pirates have won… then lost

UPDATE 2: The Winner!  Life in American prison, with guaranteed food and people hired to take care of you sure beats his previous squalid life in Somalia. At least, that’s the way he’s looking at it for now And this is the image broadcast to the world and Somalia; does anyone think this will deter, and not encourage, his compatriots?

UPDATE: Three simultaneous head shots while apparently negotiating with one; the lesson in this is, don’t f*ck with Navy SEALS.  Obama approved the use of force twice (but shouldn’t have to in such a circumstance); kudos to Obama for doing so (he gets few enough from me while he bankrupts this nation).  Only if the last pirate is ever returned to Somalia will victroy ever be reclaimed by the thugs.

Those four pirates in the lifeboat won several days ago.  They won when they weren’t either dead or captured within a few short hours after the destroyer showed up.  It doesn’t matter how it all ends up now; the moment the idiots in charge (In Washington, DC, no doubt) called in an FBI negotiator, America ran up the white flag.  These four are now considered heroes by the only people they care about impressing.

AN FBI negotiator…. for Somalian pirates??  The so-called negotiations- especially early on- would have been interesting to listen in on.  These four come out a society that- to this day- watches the movie Black Hawk Down, cheering every American casualty and shrugging off the scores of dead Somalians it took to get that one.  The cultural gap is enormous (as is the endurance for deprivation- far greater than Capt. Phillip’s will likely be.)  These four have held off a U.S. Navy Destroyer for many days.  Their return/funeral/incarceration parade through the streets in Somalia will be massive.

The right thing to do has already passed; sail up close with the destroyer, have the best shot aboard put a .50 cal round through the lifeboat below the waterline and giving them the choice of drowning or surrendering arms and hostage and living.  These are pirates looking for gain, not terrorists looking to die for a cause.  But the cause of fame  (which is a wholly desirable gain) has now assured a much more dangerous situation for not only the one hostage, but all sailors in the region for years to come.

The FBI negotiator is a reflection of the Obama Administration’s desire to treat everything up to terrorism as nothing more that criminal activity by the misguided.  Disaster will result from this approach.  However, the path to disaster in this specific area was set long ago when the decision was made to accept ransoming of these ships as standard operating procedure .

But the final responsibility for what this disaster will be falls on the current administration; they got their proverbial 3am call… and essentially hung up on it.  Even the MSM is beginning to realize the impending debacle in this: suddenly, Bo the White House puppy, has become more important than Capt. Richard Phillips.  The blackout of potentially embarrassing things for Obama continues.

Consideration for the Election

Doy we really want to give either party complete control of the government, with no effective voice to opposition?

Obama: Honor your Commitments as a Man!

OK: this has gone beyond being a two-faced politician (all are, to some degree). I’m calling Obama’s manhood into question.

I’ll start with the one that chaps me the most because of my own work in the area. I’ve just sent off $1,500 this month for promises I made for education in Africa (most of which- since applied directly for the orphans involved as a ‘gift’ to people like my daughter- is not even tax deductible). My family annual income is about the monthly income of the Obamas this year. And yet he’s done NOTHING about this 2 year-old promise:

“Senator Obama has not honoured the promises he gave me when we met in 2006 and in his earlier letter to the school. He has not given us even one shilling.”

I challenge Barack Obama to set this right. Even if Obama is not man enough to keep this promise personally, he can pass the hat for them at his next big fundraiser, or put a online donation mechanism in place accessible from his campaign website. If he does the latter, I’ll even kick in $20 myself to make sure his 10 relatives at this school have water.  The source of the money won’t matter to the people at this school and his personal humiliation can then at least be covered up by his friends in the News Media.

And it’s time for him to book that plane back to Germany and visit those wounded troops he bypassed to work out in the gym and shop. No matter what the reason he chose not to go without your campaign people, he should make up that visit to these wounded warriors. Politically, this one will undo nearly everything good from your World Tour; if not for honor’s sake, Obama needs to fulfill this one for raw political expediency.

Then, he might think of hitting up some of his new big money friends to help with this little bit of unfulfilled promises he left in the old hometown.

Barack called out the men in the black community to fulfill their responsibilities of fatherhood; I’m calling him out on the responsibilities of his pledged commitments, a a ‘citizen of the world’.

Man up, Barack; meet those commitments!

Then we can get back to talking just policies (and how yours would suck).

Obama’s World Tour a Flop

Considering it’s real purpose was not educational but for domestic political consumption, this thing was a dud.
Too much display of arrogance (acting as if already elected as President of the World) and too many glaring indicators of the purely political nature of the trip (The medicre speech to the Germans for the phot op, while blowing off meeting our wounded soldiers because no phot op would be allowed, something the Obama camp is calling ‘interfering with the visit’ today). And too many reporters feeling like they are being used as campaign staff (they always have been, but the important illusion of otherwise has been completely stripped off). Whining about the soldiers’ TV channel preferences didn’t help, either.

Proof of the failure of the political goals of this trip will have to wait until poll numbers come out. Obama was hoping for a big boost, but I doubt it will be there (lower numbers are actually possible, and that would mark it as a disaster). (Update: Gallup has the first one; with all that press and 3 network anchors in tow, a 2-point shift is all that he could muster. Now- July 27th- Rasmussen has him where he started) The first indicators of the lack of success of this globalization campaign tactic can be seen in how fast Obama has fallen off as the lead story today at CNN CBS, and CNBC on a slow news day, with ABC News primarily running damage control about the cancelled troop visit. The pictures of the ‘Rally for Non-Citizens’ sure disappeared fast enough. Even the Obama site only has a link to video on its front page; guess they’re realizing that thing was a big mistake.

Even Obama’s auxiliary campaign staff that is the MSM is getting tired of slapping lipstick on his pigs.

Update: Not much impact in that almost 3-1say Obama’s trip does not make him more fit to be president.

Update 2: according to these polling results, beyond a small blip during the ‘Grand Tour’, it was a complete failure; he’s losing ground. I suspect the biggest part of this is loss of voters in the youngest bloc, as they’ve discovered Obama is just another typical politician.

The Blessed One goes on World Tour

Barack has decided to take his Magnificance on World Tour, taking his groupie entourage of all 3 major network anchors with him. He is sure to get ‘rock star’ receptions from the socialists in Europe: With 10% unemployment, Muslim enclave ‘no go’ zones, economies cratering faster than America’s and leadership that can’t find their asses with toilet paper, they have nothing better to do. But they’ll cheer loudly for the Emporer with no Clothes (and a historically unprecedented lack of a paper trail). They won’t care of the complete lack of grasp the political Messiah has of pre-vietnam events, and the fact the guy needs 300 foreign policy advisors (no wonder he’s so muddled).

And his news media anchor buddies (who couldn’t be bothered covering, much less accompanying, McCain’s foreign trips) will assuredly shield us from any images of stupidity and ignorance on his part. We must bow down to the liberal Savior, no matter what. His world class vanity demands it.

(Update: At least most people on the streets know bias when they see it; only 1 in 4- nearly all Democrats- think reporters are unbiased.  Also, get your Tour t-shirts here; many to choose from.)

The ‘Under the Bus’ catchphrase- according to liberals- is being overused, so should now be dropped. Of course, if their political Messiah Obama would quit committing the act, the phrase for that action would not be being over used. For simplicity, I will create an Executive Summary listing, which may need updating (at least weekly at the rate Barack is working).

Bottom line (to paraphrase ‘Jaws’): “We’re going to need a bigger bus!”
